Similarly, high-density genomewide single-nucleotide polymorphism genotyping showed an amazingly balanced genomic profile in HCL.6 A powerful approach to an improved understanding of the genetic basis of cancer emerges by genomewide massively parallel sequencing of tumor and normal cellular material from the same patient, a scholarly study that’s aimed at identifying novel acquired alterations.7,8 We performed in-solution exome capture followed by massively parallel sequencing to research the DNA of purified leukemic and paired normal cells from an index patient with HCL.
