Es Selamu Aleikum
It is very hard to put into words how honored I am to be the Potentate of
our Temple.
The visits to Cheyenne, Rawlins,
Wheatland/Guernsey and Torrington
have been completed.
So have the Jackson Cutter Races and Winter PNSA in Portland.
I’ve also attended installation ceremonies for
the Ladies of the Shrine and Daughters of the Nile in Casper.
Lady Christi and I have been overwhelmed at the reception for us on our
visits.
Upcoming events include visits to Evanston, Rock Springs and Big
Piney. I certainly hope to see as many
of the Nobility as can make it to these visits.
I have been blessed to meet so many of Korein’s
Nobles and their Ladies, but know there are so many more out there I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet.
In June, Kalif and Korein Temples
will once again host the North/South Shrine Bowl in Casper.
The players and coaches will start arriving and training on June 6th, the banquet will be held on June 11th
and the game will be played on June 12th. Tickets for the game will
be mailed in the next month. Your
support of the game has been tremendous over the years and I encourage you to
continue.
My main thrust this year is, as always, our kids. That is why my motto for the year is quite
simple: Korein
& Kids.
Secondarily, though, I want to spend much of the year simply saying “Thank
you.”
So much is done within the Wyoming Masonic family
every year and too little time is spent insuring that the folks who produce so
much are thanked adequately. I also want
to extend my hand to any part of our Masonic family that could benefit from Korein involvement.
Please do not hesitate to call the Temple
if my Divan or I can be of assistance in any of the good deeds being done throughout Wyoming. We stand by ready to help at all times.
Yours in the Faith
John ‘Igg’ Engstrom
Potentate
P.S. Attend and support your
Blue Lodge! Never forget from whence we came.
